This Privacy Policy explains how VenToh (“VenToh,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use the VenToh website, mobile app, and related services (the “Service”) at
ventoh.com.
VenToh is an event invitation product. Hosts create events and invite guests. Guests can RSVP, check in, view venue details when allowed, send messages, and upload photos. Some events can be marked private (invite-only) so they stay off the host’s public event list and only invited people can open them.
1. Information we collect
We collect information you provide and information created when you use the Service:
Account data: name, email address, and/or phone number, plus a profile photo if you add one.
Event data: title, date, time, location, description, cover image, invite codes, privacy settings, and other details the host enters.
Guest and RSVP data: guest names, emails, phones, RSVP status, plus-ones, dietary notes, custom question answers, and check-in status.
Communications: event chat messages, host announcements, and video messages a host records.
Media: photos guests or hosts upload to an event gallery.
Device and usage data: browser type, app version, approximate time of use, and crash or error logs needed to run the Service.
Travel clicks: if you use hotel or flight links on an event, the booking site (for example Booking.com or Google Flights) may receive the destination and dates you searched. If we later attach an affiliate ID, that partner may record that the click came from VenToh.
Guests can RSVP through an invite link without creating an account. In that case we still store the RSVP details the host needs to run the event.
2. How we use information
Create and manage your account and events.
Send invitations, reminders, and RSVP or check-in updates the host enables.
Show event details, chat, photos, QR check-in, and venue information to people who are allowed to see them.
Keep private (invite-only) events off the host’s Home, Events, Chats, and Alerts lists, and require an invited email or personal guest link to open them.
Improve reliability, prevent abuse, and comply with law.
We do not sell your personal information.
3. Who can see your information
Hosts see the guest list, RSVPs, messages, photos, and other event data for events they created or manage.
Invited guests see what the host has chosen to reveal (for example date, location, guest list, or chat). Hidden-guest-list and anonymous RSVP settings limit what other guests see, not what the host sees.
Private events are hidden from the host’s main lists and blocked for people who are not invited. Anyone who can unlock the host’s phone, account, or Profile → Hidden events can still open those events. Private mode is invite-only privacy, not a guarantee of secrecy against someone with access to the same login or device.
4. Service providers and third parties
We use companies that help us operate VenToh, which may include:
Authentication and database hosting (such as Supabase).
Sign-in with Google or Apple, if you choose those options.
Maps and calendar tools when you open a map or add an event to a calendar.
Hotel and flight partners when you tap Travel links. Those sites have their own privacy policies. VenToh may earn a commission if you complete a booking.
We may disclose information if required by law, to protect users, or in connection with a merger or sale of the business, with notice where required.
5. Retention and deletion
We keep account and event data while your account is active and as needed to provide the Service. You can edit profile fields in Settings. To delete your account and associated personal data, email
support@ventoh.com.
We will process deletion requests within 30 days, except where we must keep records for legal, security, or dispute reasons. Hosts remain responsible for guest data they collected; deleting a host account removes events they own from the Service when technically feasible.
6. Children
VenToh is not directed to children under 13. Do not create an account or submit personal information for a child under 13. Hosts should not collect children’s data without appropriate consent.
7. Security
We use access controls, HTTPS, and authorization checks to limit who can read event data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. Use a unique password, do not share your login, and treat invite links as sensitive, especially for private events.
8. Your choices and rights
Update your name, email, or phone in Profile.
Change event privacy (private event, hide guest list, anonymous RSVP) as a host.
Ask us for a copy of your data or to correct or delete it at support@ventoh.com.
Depending on where you live (including the EEA, UK, or certain U.S. states), you may have additional rights to access, delete, or opt out of certain processing. Contact us to exercise those rights.
9. International processing
If you use VenToh from outside the country where our servers or providers operate, your information may be processed in the United States or other locations where our vendors run.
10. Changes
We may update this policy. We will change the “Last updated” date and, for material changes, provide additional notice in the app or by email when we have an address.
