Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and VenToh for use of the VenToh website, mobile app, and related services (the “Service”) at ventoh.com. By creating an account, tapping Continue, RSVPing, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.

1. The Service

VenToh helps hosts create events, invite guests, collect RSVPs, share updates, check guests in, and optionally share photos and chat. Hosts may mark an event private so it does not appear on their main event lists and so only invited people can open it. Features may change, and some features may not be available in every region or on every device.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use VenToh. If you are under 18, you may use the Service only with the consent of a parent or guardian. You must be able to form a binding contract. Do not use VenToh if you are barred from doing so under applicable law.

3. Accounts

• You are responsible for the information you provide and for keeping your login and device secure.
• Do not share your account. Activity on your account is treated as yours.
• We may refuse, suspend, or delete an account that violates these Terms or creates risk for other users.
• To close your account, email support@ventoh.com.

4. Hosts

If you create or manage an event, you agree that:

• You have the right to use the names and contact details you upload, and you will only invite people you are allowed to contact.
• You are responsible for the event itself, including venue rules, age limits, and any local permits.
• Private / invite-only mode hides the event from your Home, Events, Chats, and Alerts lists and blocks strangers who do not have an invited email or personal guest link. It does not hide the event from someone who can use your signed-in account, device, or Profile → Hidden events.
• You will not use VenToh to commit or conceal unlawful activity, harassment, or fraud.
• Guest data you collect (emails, phones, dietary needs, photos) is yours to handle lawfully. Use it only to run that event unless the guest agrees otherwise.

5. Guests

You may open an invite link and RSVP without an account. Information you submit (name, email, phone, RSVP, dietary notes, photos, messages) is visible to the host and, depending on the host’s settings, to other guests. Do not RSVP or upload content on someone else’s behalf without permission.

6. Content

You keep ownership of content you post (messages, photos, videos, event descriptions). You grant VenToh a license to host, display, and transmit that content solely to operate the Service for that event. You must not post content that is illegal, infringing, pornographic involving minors, or that violates another person’s privacy. We may remove content or events that violate these Terms.

7. Travel bookings

Hotel and flight links on an event send you to third-party sites such as Booking.com and Google Flights. VenToh does not sell tickets or hotel rooms, does not set prices, and is not a party to those bookings. Those companies’ terms and privacy policies apply. VenToh may earn an affiliate commission if you complete a booking. Always confirm dates, cancellation rules, and prices on the booking site before you pay.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Scrape, attack, or reverse engineer the Service except as allowed by law.
• Bypass private-event gates, invite codes, or other access limits.
• Spam invitations, impersonate others, or harvest contacts from VenToh.
• Upload malware or attempt to access another user’s account or events.

9. Intellectual property

VenToh, the VenToh name and logo, and the Service software are owned by us or our licensors. You may not copy the product or use our marks without permission, except for reasonable use of invite links and QR codes for your own events.

10. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS.” We do not warrant that VenToh will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that private events cannot be discovered by someone with access to your device or account. We are not responsible for whether guests actually attend, for venue conditions, or for third-party travel bookings.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, VenToh and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or travel costs. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) USD $50. Some places do not allow these limits; in those places, our liability is limited to the maximum allowed by law.

12. Indemnity

You will defend and hold VenToh harmless from claims that arise from your events, your content, your guest lists, or your misuse of the Service, including claims by guests or venues, except to the extent caused by our willful misconduct.

13. Changes and termination

We may update these Terms. Continued use after the updated date means you accept the new Terms. We may suspend or stop the Service. You may stop using VenToh at any time. Sections that should survive (including 6–12) remain in effect after termination.
